Our Work is Making a Difference

For nearly two decades, our foundation, American Friends of the Fr. Bash Foundation, Inc., has stood in partnership with the Father Bash Foundation in the Diocese of Mbarara, Uganda. Our core mission is to support Father John Baptist Bashobora "Fr. Bash" in caring for over 23,000 disadvantaged children by helping to provide food, clothing, education, and spiritual guidance. These children are some of the most vulnerable children in East Africa. They depend on the compassionate generosity of people like you.

Through this shared commitment, we have established vital institutions including the Divine Mercy General Hospital, the Fr. Bash Foundation College of Health Sciences, and the newly rebuilt Blessings Nursery & Primary School.

While our primary mission guides our work, your generosity allows us to respond when unexpected needs arise. Looking ahead, we are preparing to launch several critical initiatives:
  • Expanding access to clean water
  • Securing more land for food cultivation
  • Upgrading school kitchens and latrines to improve health and dignity
  • ​Rebuilding Dormitories for Girls and Boys
  • Sponsorship of Seminarians
  • ​Women Novices Sponsorship
