American Friends of The Father Bash Foundation’s Mission

The Mission of American Friends of the Father Bash Foundation, Inc. is to enable Father John Baptist Bashobora to continue spreading the Word of God and his blessings. We undertake the role of promoting financial support through child sponsorships and raising awareness of his noble cause. Currently, we provide vital assistance to his foundation, which serves over 20,000 children, including orphans, newborns, the elderly, seminarians, and women aspiring to enter religious life.

American Friends of the Father Bash Foundation, Inc. directs its proceeds towards supporting Father Bash Foundation in Mbarara, Uganda. We are recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a Federal Tax ID: 81-3728884 and have been partnering with Father John Baptist Bashobora for nearly two decades.

Our presence in the United States is authorized by Father John Baptist Bashobora, allowing us to mobilize funds on his foundation's behalf.

We are an independent entity and not affiliated with any other organizations.

About Father John Baptist Bashobora

Father John Baptist Bashobora is a renowned and charismatic priest celebrated for his impactful prayer, healing, and deliverance ministry. He traverses the globe, fervently spreading the Good News, sharing his profound devotion to Christ, and invoking the healing power of the Holy Spirit to restore health to the ailing and provide deliverance to the afflicted. Through his humble presence, many individuals have witnessed transformative conversions, healings, and deliverance during prayer services led by Father Bashobora.

In addition to his international ministry, Father Bashobora serves as the coordinator of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement in the Mbarara Diocese of Uganda, East Africa. His theological proficiency is underscored by his doctorate in Theology and Spirituality from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. Father John Baptist Bashobora's journey as a priest began with his ordination on December 17, 1972.

In his own words, he expresses a deep commitment to addressing the plight of impoverished children:

"Throughout my lifetime as a priest, I have witnessed children tortured, helpless, abandoned, and discarded due to poverty. I have come to understand that we can make a tangible difference in alleviating poverty by supporting well-designed, educational programs that offer disadvantaged children a second chance at life."
