The Divine Mercy Baby Home
Divine Mercy Babies Home was founded in 2011 by Father John Baptist Bashobora with the support of American Friends of the Father Bash Foundation, Inc. Under the guidance of Father Bash, it cares for 200 + abandoned infants and children.
The home emerged in response to a growing crisis of abandoned children in the area. Newspapers and communities reported daily on children in dire straits, malnourished, injured, and in need of immediate care.
The Foundation's reputation for helping abandoned children has grown tremendously over the years. Their need for nourishment, love, shelter, medical attention, spiritual support, and education as they grow are the main focus.
Every child has a unique story upon arrival. Survivors bear scars from their ordeals. Babies are often rescued by the police and brought here.
